With a passionate burden to see Christ's Church advance into areas of the world where today there are few if any churches, The Alliance is moving into Central Asia. There we will focus on a people group living in lands controlled by the former Soviet Union until 1991. Prior to that date, due to restrictions there were at most a handful of known Jesus followers among this people group. Since that date, several thousand have given their lives to Jesus as Savior and Lord. Even with all these new believers, this people group still has fewer than one Christian per 1,000 people. We want to have a part in taking the good news of Jesus Christ to them so that His fame and reputation can spread among them and so that multitudes of them can become His worshipers.
